VCU da Vinci Center for Innovation

For the past three years, MADE has partnered with the VCU da Vinci Center to bring hands-on, innovative entrepreneurship sessions to MADE students both on VCU's campus and at Meadowbrook High School. Through this partnership our students have gained valuable business knowledge, received mentorship from graduate students, and completed multiple micro-credentials such as Design Thinking, Art of the Pitch, Digital Literacy, and Intro to Business Model Canvas. Students earned digital badges to document and share their achievements.

Shark Tank: 

MADE Students participate in a two-round pitch competition modeled after Shark Tank.

Mentorship: 

da Vinci Center graduate students have gone above and beyond to mentor our entrepreneurs. Whether in person or virtually from a train or an apartment in Chicago, our MADE students have been guided on next steps to launch and grow their business.
