A Bit About Me
Collector's Paradise is a business that specializes in selling trading cards, Funko pops, and other collectibles. I founded the business, Tyler Furbert, who is currently a Junior at the Meadowbrook Academy for Developing Entrepreneurs program. Initially, Collector's Paradise was started in my freshman year as a video game and Pokémon business due to his interest in Pokemon and video games. However, after my freshman year, I decided to change the focus to just trading cards because of my passion for trading cards and collectibles. The name was also changed from Tech Shack to Collector's Paradise. Collector's Paradise aims to help collectors find the missing cards in their collection by offering rare and valuable trading cards. This year, at the MADE Business Expo, Collector's Paradise sold individual trading cards, mystery packs, and Funko Pops, and the business was more successful than the previous year. I plan to expand the business by offering more types of collectibles to help collectors find other types of collectibles they're looking for. In the future, I hope to expand Collector’s Paradise to not just Pokemon collectibles, but to multiple collectibles as well. Collectibles that include sports cards, comic books, and art. I have a passion for collecting items and I aspire my business to be a replica of my passion. Collector’s Paradise will one day be the business that all collectors go to to find the missing piece in their collection. Collector's Paradise’s mission is to become a multi-collectible business to help collectors of different genres to help them find the missing collectible that they’re looking for.
